“Feeling Frustrated? Learn How Reflection on Past Struggles Can Bring You Joy In the Present”  By Reginald L Faire Sr.

Let me vent for a quick second.

I was on break at work earlier, complaining to a coworker about how heavy the workload was today due to two people calling out this morning. The universe/God spoke to me at that moment and let some memories run across my mind that left me speechless… They simply showed me that at this exact same time last year my dad was recovering from a massive stroke that could’ve killed him.  I was jobless, broke, and filling out/checking on between 10-20 applications a day just praying for ANYONE to call back. I was also in a losing battle with my depression. God went on to show me that on yesterday.  I called my dad and cracked jokes with him as I pulled out the parking lot from working a long shift.

 

 

I shared all that to simply say that at this moment, look at where you used to be and look at where you are.  You might not be where you wanna be but trust and believe that you’re on the path to getting there whether you know it or not.  Don’t look at your circumstances and don’t try to predict the future. Just bask in THIS moment and thank God/the Universe for it because it could’ve been another way. Tomorrow may be ugly but right now, just be #Thankful.
