I’ll let Megan introduce herself before we get the GratiQuestions:
“My name is Megan Lawing, I am happily married to my husband, Jody. We have a wonderful little boy and another on the way! I have been practicing yoga for the past 2 years. My sister introduced me to it through acro yoga and I’ve been hooked ever since! I am currently working on being certified through the Holy Yoga Teacher Training program and hopefully one day when I’m ready, I’ll be able to teach in my town where there aren’t any studios. For now, I am happy with my home practice and running around with my sisters taking photos… Which is another love of mine!”

Could you tell us about a struggle in the past year that you are now grateful for?
This past year, my husband and I both had to get new vehicles. We were so stressed about it at first because that’s just two more monthly payments to add into the mix. We decided to hand our worries and concerns over to God and he didn’t fail us! He has provided means of other income that we didn’t have before and it was completely unexpected! I am so grateful that all He asked of us was to trust in Him, and He made the way.

You release such beautiful images with wonderful thought-provoking words for thousand every day. Who is a role model of yours, and why?
Kerri Verna (@beachyogagirl) has always been an inspiration to me. Though we have only met a few times, her words and images always inspired me. She somehow always felt very relatable to me. Another person who is an amazing role model to me is my aunt, Brooke. She leads a Bible study for a small group of ladies every week and I am so grateful that she asked me to be a part of it. I have learned and grown so much, and I am so thankful that she is in my life.

Tell me about a project or accomplishment that you consider to be the most significant in your life so far.
There have been so many dreams of mine that have come true in the past year, I can’t even name them all! I don’t want to sound like I’m bragging, so I will keep them to myself. I am so incredibly blessed and being able to achieve goals that you only think can be dreamed about is an amazing feeling!
-
Tell us about how you got involved with @yogabodyfitness. One thing you love about their trapeze? Have you been practicing with it for a while or is this a recent activity?
I got involved with @yogabodyfitness through Instagram! Their trapeze is so much fun, I love trying new things on it, especially things you think can only be done on the ground.. much less inverted! It is a pretty recent activity, but I’m anxious to keep it up!

In closing, what is one suggestion you have to our audience that can help incorporate gratitude into their daily lives?
Just realizing that everything we have can also be lost. At any moment, or any given day. We should be thankful for what we HAVE been given, knowing that it was never ours to begin with.
