At the lowest point of my entire life, when I was lost in the depths of addiction, thirty-four years ago, my sister and her husband took me in. They provided the tough love and stability I desperately needed to find my way back… Their support became the turning point that saved my life and gave me the courage and strength to rebuild. I’m eternally grateful for their compassion and belief in me when it was impossible for me to believe in myself. Their kindness continues to be the bedrock upon which I stand today. Now, with this note, those who know ME will understand where my commitment and conviction to help others comes from. It will be clear where my offer to have those who struggle with belief, to believe in my belief in them, until they are ready to believe themselves, originated. My sister Linda has no idea how many hundreds of lives have been forever changed through her selfless act of love and compassion…
